Does anyone know how to make pancakes ... ?!

Question: How can I make really good pancakes without overcooking (or burning) or undercooking them? I really don't know too much about making pancakes since I never really made a good pancake on my own.
How do you make it turn out just right?

Use medium heat so you don't burn them. Watch the top of the pancake as it cooks. See the bubbles? They will start popping and the pancake will look more dry -- that's how you know it's time to flip it over.

Once you flip it, it shouldn't take very long at all until the other side is done -- just keep checking it.

Make sure you're not cooking them at too high a temperature. Good pancakes take a little patience. I use the setting below medium, above medium low, and it can take 4 minutes or so before it's ready to turn (depending on how thick I made the batter).

I have it down to a science (BUT you need to make small adjustments- depending upon your stove, pan, etc...)

Use a cooking spray and heat pan at medium heat....once you pour the batter in, watch for air bubbles to start popping on the surface...when you have a good amount (but not covered), use a metal spatula to flip...once you flip you only need leave it on the 2nd side for 1-2 minutes.

Hope this helps!

Cook the pancake on medium. You will know when it's ready to be flipped when the side that is toward you loses the wet look and isn't runny. Flip it over and only cook it until it's brown.
