1 Tablespoon = 3 teaspoons

For butter, the tablespoon measurements are marked on the stick butter/margarine.

For tub butter or margarine, if you have only a teaspoon, you will need 9 teaspoons to = 3 Tablespoons. 3 x 3 = 9.

Hope that helps!

Nope, other way around. Tablespoon is larger. 1 tablespoon equals about 3 teaspoons. So if you need 3 tablespoons, that's 9 teaspoons.

3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon. Therefore you need 9 teaspoons for your recipe.

Teaspoonful is about the amount that would cover half your thumb. Tablespoon is more like a third of your palm.

Your stick of butter will have measurments in tablespoons on the wrapper. A tablespoon is bigger than a teaspoon.
3 teaspoons make 1 tablespoon.

A tablespoon is bigger. I kinda look at it like a regular spoon you would use to eat is a teaspoon and the spoons that are a lil bigger are the tablespoons.

A teaspoon is smaller than a tablespoon. Actually, there are three teaspoons in one tablespoon. I am attaching a link to a site of dry measurements. Scroll down and you will see ... 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon.

So, if you need 3 tablespoons of butter, then you could use 9 teaspoons instead.

3 teaspoons equeal one table spoon. use 9 teaspoons for your treat.

A tablespoon is bigger and two tablespoons equal 1/4 stick of butter and 4 tablespoons equal 1/2 stick so in between those two is 3 teaspoons.

I would sincerely suggest buying a Joy of Cooking. This cookbook will help with all of these kind of questions. You are obviously new in cooking but are giving it a shot(KUDOS!!).
