What can I do with a bag of dried pasta that's shaped like the pasta in Spaghettios?!
Answers: My husband just returned from Chicago, shopped at Trader Joe's and brought home this 1 lb. bag of pasta that I swear belongs in Spaghettios. I have no idea what in the heck to do with this pasta. I don't want to just throw some sauce on it. But since it's not a big pasta, I'm stuck at what sauce would work well with this shape. Do you have any suggestions?
Use it in a soup.
There are a lot of soups that call for pasta, and even if they don't you can add it to the soup. It is your soup and your choice!
I would use it in a soup.
How ya doing today 2Beagles?
ADDITION:
Go to secretrecipes.com. Click on recipes and then click on Olive Garden. There are a couple of soups there that call for pasta. Pasta is pasta, just different shapes. We love the one with beans. It is so good and you can use the pasta in it.
How about baked Mac and cheese. If you want something different try adding different cheeses all together and topping with bacon.
might be nice in a chicken soup
I almost always use the rings for my macaroni salad. I shredd carrot add salad shrimp egg mayonaise miracle whip a dab of mustard salt and pepper a generous amount of honey mix together and sprinkle paprika on top.
