I highly doubt it, just use eggs, unless your allergic to them.

no

Not so that it will turn out the same. Eggs not only leaven but they also bind. Nothing else does that.

You're already using instant cake mix instead of bothering to make an actual cake. Can't you at least use real eggs? Or is it just too much trouble?

1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.

Here are some other substitutes
Ener-G Egg Replacer - follow directions on box.
2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.

You can try using egg beaters. If they will work with your mix then the box should mention it. If it doesn't the egg beaters usually come with instructions about how to make the substitution work.

depends on the recipie...i've used applesauce and pumpkin (from the can) believe it or not...very yummy!!

This just happened to me a few days ago. I took a can of pears, mashed 'em up and threw them in. It wasn't quite like eggs but it worked really well. Any kind of canned fruit should do the same. All the eggs do is provide a little moisture and puffiness.
