Banana chips...?!


Question: hi. i was wondering how to make banana chips, as in make the bananas go crispy, beacuse in some shops (e.g julian graves) you can get them nice and crispy

I have made crispy apples in the oven this way so I think if you tried the bananas it might work.
Slice the bananas diagonally and place seperately on a baking tray and put in a low oven gas mark 1/2( 130oc)( 250f)
Roast for 1 hour then rotate trays. Roast for 1.5-2 hours total or until crisps are crunchy and dry.
To keep crispy store in an airtight container or storage bag. To recrisp already cooked crisps that have gone soft, cook on a baking tray for 10 mins at gas mark 1/2(130c)(250f)

you would have to dehydrate them if you don't have a dehydrator I know theres a way to do it in the oven on very low heat for a few hours it works great for jerky it would probably work for bananas those banana chips are just dehydrated bananas
