INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup cold water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 teaspoons prepared Dijon-style mustard
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

DIRECTIONS
Place water in a medium saucepan, and mix in cornstarch to dissolve. Stir in honey. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens, about 15 minutes.
Remove sauce from heat. Stir in green onions, lemon juice, prepared Dijon-style mustard and onion powder. Serve warm or chill in the refrigerator.

*HONEY
*MUSTARD

Try this
2/3 mayonnaise, 1/3 mustard( I use creole or oid grain mustard) add honey as you like it for sweetness and so the same with your favorite hot sauce. I usually ad a few drops of worcesterdhire sauce.

just mix Honey& Mustard together to suit your taste. That is what I do. Cheaper to make your own, too.

I love this one:

Honey Mustard Sauce

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/8 teaspoon paprika

Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

I make my own sometimes. First I mix either powdered mustard or regular mustard and honey together. I just kind of keep mixing until I get the right mix of flavor I want. If you want it a little spicier you could add some cayenne pepper or chili powder or even some of your favorite hot sauce. You should add a little of whatever spice you want at a time until it is exactly what you want. Sorry I didn't give exact measurements. I kind of just eyeball it and keeping adding till it comes out exactly like I want. Good luck!

I make it every time, Honey, Dijon mustard, add splash of vinegar, but not needed fresh cracked pepper.

HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE:

1 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. prepared mustard
1/4 c. honey
1/2 sm. onion, grated fine
3 dashes Tabasco sauce
6 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Pinch celery seed

Mix all ingredients together.

Champagne or good dejon mustard mixed with honey.

YES AND IT IS SO SIMPLE...3 parts honey to 1 part mustard....you can use yellow or brown thats up to you. for a hot taste you can use stale beer /dry white mustard /honey / add just alittle yellow mustard or brown to taste...enjoy....P.S...the stale acohol really spices it up ..but there is a warning...the longer it sits the hotter it gets...but boy is it ever good.
