Snack recipe's?!
Answers: I'm looking for healthy snack recipe's. With not a lot of ingredents between 3-6 ingredient's. Homemade dips too. I already have a dill one. Trail mixes,what do you put in your homemade versions. no yogurts plz I already know a few yogurt recipe's (like parfaits) , as wells as smoothies, i know a bunch of them too. Thx in advance
*Ants on a Log
Fill the inside of HALF A CELERY STICK with PEANUT BUTTER and sprinkle with RAISINS.
*Peanut Butter with Apple
Cut a whole APPLE into eigths and spread, dip, or pipe (using a resealable bag and snip a little hole in one corner) with PEANUT BUTTER.
*Strawberrys with Banana Swirls
Cut the top off of abut a cup of STRAWBERRIES and cut into halves or fourths. Mash a BANANA in a resealable bag, snip out alarge hole at acorner and pipe onto strawberries.
*Pineapple Salsa
Heat the oven to 350 degrees, blend 2 cups of PINEAPPLE, 3 cloves GARLIC, 1 tablespoon LEMON JIUCE, 1/4 teaspoon ground CUMIN, and 1/4 cup MINT in a blender. Spray cookie sheet with COOKING SPRAY and cut round flour TORTILLAS into fourths or eigths, bake in the oven, and dip.
*Fruit Kabobs
Skewer your favorite FRUITS onto a skewer and sprinkel with a little bit of LEMON JUICE if not being eaten immediately
*Preztels
Heat the oven on to 350 F and roll up a tube of BREAD DOUGH into different shapes and sizes, bake, and throw on some of your favorite TOPPINGS!
*Bagel Pizza
Cut fresh BAGELS in half so that you have two flat O's. Sprinkle with CHEESE, throw in soem TOPPINGS, and bake it in the oven or microwave it for 3o seconds.
*Fruit Stripes
Any kind of FRUIT of relatively the same size

1. Slice two pieces of fruit that are relatively the same size and alternately stack the pieces. If needed, poke a toothpick thrugh the middle to hold.
Also, I put raisins, oats, sunflower seeds, and other dried fruits in my trail mixes.
You can make a delious fruit smoothie like strawberries, kiwaii,banannas, and apples.
I like mini gorganzola pizzas. This idea is adapted from one of Giada's recipes from te food network.
You need one tube of refrigerated pizza dough. Pilsbury makes a nice one. Cut circles out of the unfolded dough. Brush each circle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with halved grape tomatoes and gorganzola (or blue) cheese. In the oven at 350 till golden.
You can serve this with a dallop of sour cream or marinara on top. I have tried it both ways and liked it.
The trail mix my family loves is raisins, sunflower nuts, mini-marshmallows, and chocolate chips or m&m's.
