Answers: i just turned 17 last ausgust.

You are at the perfect age to start cooking. By the time
you're 20, you'll be pro...at
least, pretty darned good.

I my self start cooking when I was 10 . the first food and the real main dish I did was Macaroni . So you r in the Exact age for cooking .... just be intrested in that .....

your never to young to learn and never to old to stop

why would you be too young when in a year you will be considered an adult? of course you can start to learn to cook, it is also probably best if someone assists you around large appliances and ovens....

15 love cooking made eclairs yesterday mmm
age doesnt matter

i started cooking when i was 7 its whenever you feel its the best time

I'm not going to get into specifics: AGE DOESN'T MATTER WHEN IT COMES TO COOKING. Food is food, I don't care who makes it or how old they are, it just has to taste good. Hope that helps.

Any age is just right to start cooking.

The right time to start to learn to cook is when you want to learn.

I started teaching my sons to cook when they were 6. But then I didn't want to know about cooking until I was 20.

If you have the interest to learn right now, then 17 for you is the perfect age.

No age is too young or too old to learn to cook. We all have to learn this some time in our life whether we are male or female. I guess the sooner the better. Good luck hope you enyoy cooking.

Just go ahead and learn.
If you want to learn now - go for it.

You are NOT too young or too old. It's just surprising that you have not learnt as you are growing up. Most people would have done some cooking at home - even for fun, when they were little kids.

There is NO definitive, correct answer to you question.

Yeah start learning now. When you're on your own in a few then you'll be able to cook healthy stuff at home instead of relying on fast food. Plus it's a lot cheaper to make it at home. And you don't have leave the house if you're hungry.

its just the right age in starting to learn how to cook

You'll never be too young and never be too old to learn how to cook.

well i started cooking at 12 for my parents but thats because mom said she wasnt cooking anymore and dad is the worst cook ever!!! i think i was a bit on the young side. but i am a cook now! im now 29. in short i think 17 is a good age to really start cooking. its before college and before marriage so cook on:)

it depends to you.. (earlier, the better...)

YOU'RE NEVER TO YOUNG OR OLD to learn just wanting to is a great start. just remember take your time have "all" your prep ready to go, it should be a fun experience not a chore. for me it's not just a job i LOVE it i enjoy watching peoples faces as they enjoy something i have prepared for them it's the best high in the world. So you go for it and remember the only blocks in cooking are your imagination. don't ever let people tell you you can't cook something the best dishes in the world today are from people who dared to create.

you are not too young, too old or just the right time to learn to cook- it just depends to you if you want to learn on how to do it.. but the earlier you learn, the better.. to get ready not to rely w/ others... (tnx for reading my answer..)

as i am a baker I started teaching my grand daughter at the ripe age of 4 to bake, she is now 10 and one of the best bakers around, i brought her all kinds of things caker mixer and scales, now i cant keep her out of the kitchen and if she has a problem she always calls and i am only to happy to sort it for her, and the best part of it is the taste testing ouh i just love it. so go for it.

Any age is fine to learn.
The best way is to find a night class at your local high school or community college.
Look for a course in food preparation.
Take that one and continue in what ever area you are most interested in.

I had my daughter cooking with me since she could stand on a chair and reach the kitchen counter.
It's never to young (or old) to start learning how to cook.
Start with a simple recipe, once you are comfortable with it, make it more personalized (take out the green peppers and put carrots in). Then move on to other recipes.

You're old enough to start learning as soon as you're tall enough to use the counter and stove.

i've been cooking with my dad since i was 5.... he is a chef.... but it is NEVER too old or young to start cooking. my son is 4 and has been helping me in the kitchen since he could stand up basically......dumping the flour and sugar for cookies, etc. but like i said, you are NEVER too old/young. everyone needs to cook to a point and i'd say kudos for you for going for it. HAVE FUN!!!
