What ingredients do you think make the best sandwich?!

Answers: please tell me all your favourite recipes and ingredients

Whatever kind of sandwich you are making, it's got to have lettuce, tomato & mayo.

I've been trying out Ranch dressing on my sandwiches. It's good!

You can use a lot of things with French or sub rolls. My favorite is fried shrimp with just mayo sprinkled with paprika.
Then, there's a hot roast beef sub (in my part of the country, we call them 'po boys). You can also make open-faced hot roast beef sandwich on 2 slices of sliced bread.

Your left-overs are a good source. You can make a meatball sandwich, meatloaf, hot or cold beef, turkey or chicken, etc. Try different sauces, like soy sauce, salad dressings, BBQ, honey mustard, etc.

You can make a sandwich with almost anything. Just use your inagination! :)

peanut butter and tuna sandwich. Put it in the oven for 1 min and it's fresh good!

For one... bread really helps.

Okay, well also, I like BLTPBs... Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and peanut butter. Yum!

Walnut and cream cheese.
Bacon and avacado
those are my favourites

salmon, cream cheese, capers, a splash of balsamic vinegar.mmmhhh moooorish.

Whole grain bread, turkey, bacon, avocado, swiss cheese, honey mustard, mayo, lettuce (field green), and tomato.
Dang it now I'm hungry!

have you ever tried chicken and mango on lebanese bread? they are great as an appetizer for a dinner party, or just to enjoy as a snack

Roast beet Mayo salt pepper tomatoes....

my favorite sandwitch is made with leftover chicken from Thangsgiving with a little mayo. OMG sooooo good.

A nice fat roll-rare roast beef-cheese-(provolone)-mayo/lettuce/tom... pepper/ and oil and vinegar

A dash of butter and cheese

For a grilled cheese: a good sour dough bread, sauteed onions, bacon, extra sharp cheddar cheese and monterey jack as well...put the onions and the bacon in the middle, between the cheeses so they don't slip out as easily.

For a turkey sandwich: again, a nice hearty bread, real mayo, fresh-roasted turkey (like after thanksgiving!), salt and pepper, and lettuce.

For a ham sandwich: an onion roll, mayo on one side, honey or sweet/sour mustard on the other, ham (lots!) and a nice jack cheese.

For a roast beef sandwich: an onion roll, a mixture of mayo and horseradish on both sides, lots of rare roast beef, a slice of a purple onion, lettuce and a slice or two of swiss cheese.

Sometimes I just like to eat it with slices of avocados, or turkey and mustard and tomatoes, or smoked honey ham with tomatoes and avocados, the possibilities are endless.

Ham & Swiss with mustard and a pickle.

i really like all these combos
grilled cheese with cream cheese and green onions
grilled cheese with oregano on inside and garlic powder outside
nice fresh bread or bun with ham, cheese, lots of lettuce, and mayo and mustard
canned salmon with bread and butter pickles
cream cheese with either gerkin pickles, or olives, or cherries

i really like mayo, onions, and lots of lettuce for sandwiches but not always together-depends on the sandwich
