How should I adjust the cooking time??!


Question: I've got something that is supposed to cook for 35 minutes at 400 degrees but my oven is in use at 425 degrees. How much should I reduce the cooking time?

Drop the oven temp for the 35 minutes. Lowering the temp will not make a difference to whatever else you are cooking since it is for such a short time. (and if you feel the need, you can increase the cooking time for whatever you the oven set for 425 for)
Cooking at too high a temp can result in burnt outside and uncooked inside.

Just put the notches a little bit down and keep at the same time.

probaly about 25 min

I'd say 5-8 minutes.
