Help! Choclate eclair cake, it was made with vanilla pudding and there was choc. icing on top.....?!
Answers: Oh my that was something the kids just loved but the lady will not give out her recipe. So I will ask my fellow Yahoo Answer Friends -- - - - Does anyone have a recipe something similar??? I would so appreciate it and so would my kids. Thank You.
INGREDIENTS
2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 cups milk
1 (16 ounce) package graham cracker squares
1 (16 ounce) package prepared chocolate frosting
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, thoroughly blend the pudding mix, whipped topping, and milk.
Arrange a single layer of graham cracker squares in the bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Evenly spread half of the pudding mixture over the crackers. Top with another layer of crackers and the remaining pudding mixture. Top with a final layer of graham crackers.
Spread the frosting over the whole cake up to the edges of the pan. Cover, and chill at least 4 hours before serving.

-graham crackers
-large vanilla pudding mix
-chocolate icing
-whipped cream
1st layer- cover the bottom of the container with graham crackers
2nd- layer- mix up the vanilla pudding mix as it says on the box and mix in the whipped cream--spread on top of the graham crackers
3rd layer- make another layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding/whipped cream mix
4th layer- spread chocolate icing on the top to finish it off! (it's easier to spread the icing if you put it in the microwave fore about 15 seconds)

2 sm. pkgs. vanilla instant pudding
3 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 pkg. graham crackers
Make vanilla pudding with just 3 cups of milk. Mix Cool Whip with pudding. Layer in a 9 x 13 inch pan as follows: layer whole graham crackers, then 1/2 Cool Whip mixture, then layer graham crackers, then other 1/2 of Cool Whip mixture, then top with graham crackers (one layer). Frost with chocolate frosting for Eclair Cake.
You can search a recipe for Boston Cream Pie. I believe that's what it is called.
Basically make a yellow cake mix. Make sure that you let this cool throroughly, then spread about 3/4" of vanilla pudding in the middle of the cake. Make sure that your pudding is also very cold. Cover and Let it chill for about an hour. On the top I spread cholcolate ganach instead of frosting. To be honest I buy a yellow cake mix and Kozy Shack pudding.
