lawarys seasoned salt

sprinkle them with a little season salt after they are warmed

or crole seasoning if u like hot

its always good to add some sort of seasoning. Herbs or spices make it more enjoyable. A bit of oil and salt on the baked variety also make them more tasty

The best advice is to NOT oversalt them, but to salt them as soon as you finish cooking them. This ensures that the seasonings will stick as they cool down.

I suggest "HOT" salt - made by Mortons and can be found with regular salt.

I add spices to them before I fry them.

Making good fries is more complicated that one would think. I generally cut my potatoes into fry size planks. Then I soak them in salt water for about 10 minutes. Then I rinse them off. Next dry the potatoes and fry them in peanut oil on a low heat for about 10 minutes. When I say low, we want them to be bubbling, but not get brown. Take them out and drain on a paper towel. Then turn the oil up and put them back in to brown. They will be brown, fluffy inside and crispy. As soon as you take them out season with at least salt. I like them like this, but my guy prefers onion and garlic salt on the outside with a little paprika. I like them plain with a little sour cream.

Different season salts work good, chile is good, too.
