Make a Ramen frittata...the cheese asked for below isn't necessary, you can add the green beans as crunch, and cook some rice with a dash of soy sauce for a side. (Cook the rice first, the frittata only takes 5-7 min's). The ranch croutons would best be served over top of the frittata, or just munch on those while you're cooking. Dip them in salad dressing as your appetizer. Ketchup can be served on top of the egg/ramen frittata, if that's your fave thing to do. You can cut this recipe in half if you need to cook for just yourself tonite...

Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. chicken flavored ramen noodles
6 eggs
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Place noodles in a saucepan filled with boiling water. Cook noodles until tender and drain. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1 of the seasoning packets from the noodles. Discard remaining seasoning packet. Add cooked, drained noodles to egg mixture.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the egg/noodle mixture and cook over medium-low heat until firm, 5 to 7 minutes, drawing the cooked mixture to the center to allow uncooked portion to flow onto bottom of pan. Cut frittata into four wedges, and turn over to brown the other side for 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover pan, and let stand 1-2 minutes to melt cheese. 4 servings

just but mr noodles, they only cost like 20 cents each ;)

your in college huh? well i don't eat any thing japanese after the war, but you can try adding the eggs when it is boiling. Can't really help you. Try that. I heard some college kids do that.

just boil them, it's only til tomarrow. or just add a vegtable to them (green beans)

Christ, just heat it up, grit your teeth and eat it. There's no dressing up Ramen. You just can't take a crack ho to a fancy restaurant...

It's scary that this website exists, but there ya go: http://www.mattfischer.com/ramen/ Good luck.

I guess the noodles are soup. I would eat the noodle soup and the green beans. If you are hungry for more I would eat the eggs with rice. You could eat the noodles with the eggs instead of eating the noodles as a soup. That would mean less water in the belly which might help you get full.

If you crack an egg into it while it's boiling, it will add some protien, and it's Asians that started that, not college kids. Also a side of green beans will go good with that.

What You Need
4 (3 ounce) packages chicken flavored ramen noodles
1 cup diced celery
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1/2 red onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
4 ounces frozen green peas
1 cup mayonnaise

You didn't say if the rice was cooked or not, so I'm suggesting that you add some of the green beans and 1 beaten egg to it to bulk it up. It's already got salt and seasoning - popcorn would be ridiculous, but you could add a small dab of ketchup if you'd like the color. The croutons on top wouldn't hurt.

Make the soup as directed on the package then, add 1/2 cup green beans and bring to a boil then add the noodles. When the noodles are done then add 1 slightly beaten egg by drizzling the egg into the broth and noodles while stirring. serve.

Make a basic fried rice by putting oil in a heavy fry pan or a wok. Add 1/2 cup green beans then 1 scrambled egg when egg is cooked then add 2 cups cooked rice and stir fry until heated through. Add 2 Tbs. soy sauce and stir until blended through. Serve.

Coming from Japan, my mother used to make this bowl of noodles with the ingredients that you have when I was young. It works well when I'm waiting for my next paycheck as well, and its considerably healthier than eating just plain noodles.

1. Before opening the ramen package, use your fingers to crush the noodles inside to about 8-10 pieces.

2. If you already have the rice cooked, take it out, and let it to cool.

3. Beat eggs in a bowl with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and a light dash of soy sauce.

4. Cook the noodles in water, and add in the rice, green beans, and croutons.

5. When noodles are cooked, pour in the beaten eggs.

6. Add only half of the noodle soup seasoning packet.

7. Squeeze a tablespoon of ketchup, and add a little dash of soy sauce.

8. Serve hot!!!

(Use a soup spoon to eat, so that you can gather the rice and noodles onto your spoon and eat!)
