How do you make super crispy bacon?!

Question: I want to make BLTs for dinner tonight, but i can never get the bacon crispy (ya know the way they make it in restaurants?) How can I go about making bacon that way at home?

Thanks so much!

Lay the bacon out flat on a cookie sheet. Put in the oven for 12-15 mins depending on how crispy you want them. this way the bacon is not boiling in the deep grease like in a pan. THats how I always cook my bacon! Good luck

I nuke it in the microwave (a min. for each piece on high) and cover with a papertowel.

microwave it, a minute per slice

Do it in the microwave.
put your bacon on a paper towel lined glass Pyrex pie plate.
cover it with another paper towel and cook for several minutes I'd say 5 slices- five minutes, but check it at 3 minutes. I have done this and the grease gets absorbed by the paper towel while the bacon gets crispy.

when you cook the bacon in the pan make sure it's cooking in the grease. keep ckecking it to make sure you dont' burn it and just let it sit for awhile and it gets real crispy.

Microwave, but they shrink alot.
If you have time, just pan fry! They will get really crispy, it just takes longer. My family really likes pan fried better.

You eat dinner early.
Oh maybe your a east coaster

toaster oven

too late for tonight, you may consider for next time: fry in a non-stick pan, don't use any greese!

put the bacon slices on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees and they are nice and crispy... i do this all the time as i hate to fry bacon and so this is our alternative to that... besides the barefoot contessa taught me this on her show one day...
