Polenta expiration?!


Question: i have some premade polenta, it comes in plastic, kind of in the shape of a big sausage, and you refrigerate it, it experied back in February, it doesn't look moldy or anything, but i was wondering if it was still alright to eat and cook with, i want to use it to make dinner tomorrow, thanks to any advice

It's probably still good, but why take a chance? Doctors are expensive, and that's about the cheapest food you can come up with.

Instead of buying another log, just buy some cornmeal, and cook it fresh. It's probably *less* work to make your own than to make the premade.

I WOULD NOT EAT ANYTHING THAT EXPIRED EVER HAD FOOD POSIONING IT IS HORRIABLE

THROW IT OUT NOW RIGHT NOW

Please save yourself and any potential guests from this expired polenta. It expired in February, not yesterday. Please throw it away now.
