This is the one I use and only use

ROAST BEEF AU JUS

1 beef roast, 4 1/2 lbs.
4-6 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 - 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 onion

Place roast in oven proof dish; salt and pepper to taste. Pour soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce over roast. Place cut up onion on roast. Cover and cook 350 degrees to desired doneness. You can also use packaged au jus.

au jus (ō zhūs', zhü')
adj.
Served with the natural juices or gravy: roast beef au jus.

I think it is basically the broth that the roast beef cooks in. Used in French Dip sandwiches to dip into.

Au Jus means "with it's juice." It is basically fat from the beef usually mixed with stock and water to creat a dipping sauce that is flavored with something like worcestershire sauce, garlic, brown sugar, onion, etc. Many people have french dips au jus (roast beef sandwich with melted swiss served with dipping sauce).

au jus is when you serve any meat with their own jus/juice..those jus are the leftover liquid from the meat when you roast/bake it..it's also contain the fat that's released from the meat when you cook it..so,those extra liquid should be use as it jus by transfer it into a small pot and mix with some roux( equivalent amount of butter and flour) to thicken it..

it is a roast beef sandwich that is dipped in a beef broth to add addition flavor to the sandwich

this is chicken too.
