i have a real easy one for you
pumpkin pie
1 cup pumpkin
1 large box vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cup milk
1 cup whipped topping
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
i baked 9 inch pie shell
mix pumpkin , pudding , milk and spices together .fold in whipped topping
pour into pie shell and chill at leat 2 hours. garnish with more whipped topping if desired, Serves 8
for a baked version here is my recipe for that
Pumpkin pie
pastry for a 9 inch one crust pie
2 eggs
1 can (16 ounce) can pumpkin
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1 2/3 cups evaperated milk or light cream
Heat oven to 425 degrrees. Prepare pastry or buy a already prepared crust in the frozen food section
Beat eggs slightly with a rotary beate:beat in remaining ingredients. pour into pastry lined pie pan to prevent spills palce pie pan on oven rack or an open oven door when filling with pumpkin mixture. Bake 15 minutes
reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees . Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean. 45 minutes. Cool if desired serce with sweetened whipped cream or whipped topping.
for an crust that doesnt get soggy sprinkle a little flour in the bottom of crust before pouring your filling in .
for a extra little something line bottom with minature marshmallows before pouring in filling.
