What can I make with...?!
Answers: What can I make with a can of pumpkin pie filling and a box of Pilsbury pumpkin bread mix? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated! Thnx!
If you give it to McGiver, he can make it into an airplane or maybe a turkey-shaped something or other, that will help him get out of a jam.
Save the pie filling for a pie. Make the bread mix. Add some raisins or nuts if you want to "doctor" the mix.
If you make cakes at home, you can substitute oil for pumpkin filling --- less fat in your cake! And you should'nt be able to taste the pumpkin either.
You can also freeze any remaining into ice cubes, to add to vegetable dishes, brownies, breads, and cakes.
If you don't want to just make the pilsbury pumpkin bread, amybe you can add cinnamon to it, to make it taste better. Maybe add sugar and make it into a sweet dessert bread.
put the bread dough in a cupcake tin... I've never used that mix so I am assuming it is dough-like.
Let the bread cook as normal... use a toothpick in the centre if you are not sure it is cooked if it comes out dry it is ready.
After that tilt your knife toward the centre and make around deep-ish incision int the top then pull it out. You should have a CONE like shape... so be sure to cut it like that.
Then put the pumpkin filling in the muffins then you can cut the cones in half and put them on top like little wings. Or keep the cones and use a small cookie to turn those into witch hats.
I've never used the pumpkin bread mix so I don't know if it is sweet or anything... if not I would consider adding sugar.
Hope this helps in the slightest.
You could make the pumpkin bread mix as is says on the box. If it calls for oil you can substitute applesauce to make it less fat. Then mix together about 1/2 c pumpkin with a vanilla pudding jello mix, 1 1/2 c milk, 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice and whip cream to make a pumpkin mousse to put on top of the bread.
Use the bread mix and see on the instructions to see if you can add the can as well.
