My kids love it this way.

I'll bet that is wonderful!!!!!!!! I have never thought of that, I've gotta try it. One thing we love is when I put chocolate chips in the Rice Krispie treats, that really adds a wonderful taste, of course, how can you go wrong with chocolate in anything?? LOL I have also made them with Cocoa Pebbles, OR for a doubly chocolatey treat, Cocoa Pebbles with chocolate chips!
Is it obvious that I am a chocoholic....anybody?? hee hee

I am an adult and I love them that way. They are really good.

They have an ad/recipe for that in Parents magazine. You can also try Cocoa Krispies.

I've never made them with any other kind of cereal but I've seen ads in magazines for doing that. Glad you found a fun treat to share with your kids!

Yes, I've made them...wayyyy too sweet for me.

yes. my mom also makes hers with cocoa crispies, and a mixture of cocoa crispies and plain rice crispies.

i think you are the only one who ever thought of that, i`ve never heard of that. i want to try that some time. thats a good idea.

Yes, I am eating one right now as I type......LOL
My daughter made a batch, and I thought she was crazy. I ? the fruity pebbles better than the originals. I cant seem to get enough. YUMMY!

yes we have made them that way a lot of times . Also with cocoa crispies. i have even used cinnamon toast crunch cereal and it was good just bigger pieces in the dessert is all. i experiment with different kinds of cereal in my marshmallow and butter have even frosted the top while warm with by putting cocolate chips on top and letting the heat from the hot rice crispy treats melt the chips.
