How do you cook chicken breast to taste like a steak?!

Question: I am pregnant and craving steaks right now. Currently I've been eating 1-2 steaks a day - while they are delicious, continuing this on a long term scale will be expensive and I'd rather save and use my money on other things than steak. I live in Thailand so things like beef jerky are not readily available as a viable alternative to steak. Does anyone know how to cook chicken so that it will taste like steak?

Well, it's not gonna taste exactly like steak, sorry.

Some good ways to make chicken breast interesting would be to make it into chicken jerky, make teriyaki chicken, or do a really spicy yummy version with different spices and peppers...you could add crunchy coatings if wanted. I would advise marinating on anything you do, to make the taste stronger.

Good luck!

Fry the chicken in steak grease and then cover it in A-1

Dear gmong513,
You'll never get to the consistency of a steak.... So must tell you that you cannot make it taste like steak.
You can bread it, bake, steam, boil, grill and fricassee it but it just won't be the same as steak. The only positive thing is that it is probably better for you than steak and that it is more versatile than steak.
Best wishes to you and your new family.
GC

Chicken is chicken no matter how you cook it.
