spagetti and garlic bread

you should let us know the types of food for instance my man doesn't eat chicken. so that wouldn't be a suggestion.

lemon chicken is sooo good!

sub sandwiches and a beer

I am such a lousy cook, I go to Costco or something like that and get precooked meals and then heat them up. Then I am not stuck cooking (badly) for hours and we can have a nice evening together.

Spaghetti's always good and easy. Maybe make it with spicy italian sausage to liven it up. Make some nice garlicy french bread, maybe add some cheese to it. And make one of those easy-bake-in the pan cakes and buy some ice cream.
Comfort food. :) Very popular with men.

Pasta dishes go down well and are easy to prepare.Don't forget a salad and top it off with wine and a delicious dessert.

My choice would be meatloaf. You never get it often enough and I love it.

casserole dish, 1lb ground beef or veggie meat (1 bag), shredded cheese, sour cream, tater tots.

350 degrees. spray pan so it doesnt stick. on bottom of pan softened tater tots kind of mash down so they lay flat. cooked and drained beef or choice of meat or veggie meat, spread layer of sour cream, add shredded cheese bake in oven for 20-30 minutes..wa-la. A tasty quick meal.

EASY

Remove from heat; stir in cream, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Add cheeses; stir until melted. When reheating, do not boil or cheeses will curdle.

Steak and baked potato
Home made mac and cheese
Salads
Super sandwiches (meaning good cheese and meat)
Spaghetti and meatballs
Chicken noodle soup (home made)

Peeled shrimp cooked with asparagras in a white sauce with mushrooms atop a bed of wild rice served with a nicely chilled white wine.

grill a steak, most guys love steak. baked potatoe, & corn. good filling meal.

Shepherd's pie. Piece of cake. Meat and potatoes. Perfect man food. And you'll have extra time to shop for creative lingerie.....

chicken breast cooked in butter in oven for 30 mins then take them out and sprinkle cajun spice on them put under grill for 10 mins then serve with salad and new potatoes (requires no effort)

Or steak and chips with friend onions and mushrooms

or beef stew and dumplings served on a bed of mash potatoes

Chicken Parmesan

Cook chicken in a nonstick skillet with some butter until heated through and done (not pink) inside.

Serve over pasta, cover in parmesan jar sauce, sprinkle with GOOD parmesan cheese. Not that stuff in a green can, but the shredded cheese from the deli or cheese section.

To spice it up you could add any or all of these: canned mushrooms, frozen peas thawed with hot water, artichoke hearts drained, sun dried tomatoes cut up. (Like they serve at Carrabba's!)

YUM YUM

try brautworst w/mushroomsand asalad for the both meat veggies are both good and inticing

My go to Recipe is a Stir Fry. You can use Chicken or Pork instead of Beef and you can also play with the vegetables. Its super easy to make, and super easy to clean up. Serve with some white or brown rice and maybe some eggrolls from the freezer section and you have an ethnic meal in minutes with almost no hassle

Beef Stir-Fry with Peppers and Snow Peas

Ingredients:

2 Tbs. canola oil
1 lb. beef tenderloin, cut into strips 2 inches
long and 1/2 inch wide
1 orange bell pepper, seeded and cut
into 1-inch pieces
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut
into 1-inch pieces
1/4 lb. snow peas
1/3 cup chinablue Sweet Soy Sauce

Directions

In a large stir-fry pan or wok over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Add the beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 3 minutes. Add the orange and red bell peppers and the snow peas and cook until the peppers are just tender and the snow peas are bright green, about 1 minute. Stir in the sauce, cook for about 30 seconds more and transfer to a platter. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
.

Shrimp(all men love this recipe, I cook it at all the super-bowl parties)

2lb shelled shrimp
2 tbl spn butter or margerine
3/4 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup soy sauce

Turn the frying pan to medium/hot. When the pan gets warm add 2 table spoons of butter. When the butter has melted pour shrimp into pan. Add the lemon juice. Continue to flip shrimp about every 30 seconds to a minute to keep them from burning. When the shrimp start to turn golden brown add soy sauce. Let the shrimp cook for 2 minutes after adding soy sauce and take up. These are really good served with rice. He will be sure to love it!!!!

You can make a shepards pie, Which consists of .
any kind or your favorite meat or veggie meat on the bottom layer. Then the middle layer is some vegetables like peas and corn or carrots etc The top layer is mashed potatoes.
Then you can add cheese in the different layers if you like, and a gravy to put over it Or just leave it plain . My family loves this one.

or you canmake ahystacks. Which consists of a can of baked beans of you choosing, the salad items, like lettuce green peppers, celery , others vegetable you like such as tomato, then some salad crunchies like bacon bit croutons etc, some sour cream, and your favorite salad dressings and cheese as well.

You place the chips on the bottom then the beans, then the lettuce and other things after that, in what ever order you like.

For dessert with this we make a fruit haystack or dessert pizza.
The haystack for the dessert consists of your favorite cookies crushed up like sugar cookies choclate chips or oreos etc. the you put ice cream , and different fruits on that, then the fudge sauce or caramel etc, then on that you put the whipped cream. as well as sprinkles or candies etc.

The dessert pizza consists of a huge sugar cookie , or chocolate chip then the cream cheese spread ( mixed with powdered sugar to make it sweet. Spread that on the cookie, then place a variety fruits on top like strawberries, blueberries, kiwi or madarin oranges and apple slices or bananas etc. Then you can add things like sprinkles nuts and on top of that you add whipped creamthen cuit like a pizza you can alter this to suit your own tastes and so on.

Another meal my son like is 5 cheese lasagna with extra sauce in it, no meats. and garlic bread, then pie or cakes for dessert ( especially cheese cake, or the treat baklava,

I added some different site you can go to for more ideas. Hope you find one you like.
