Porridge

Ingredients
knob of butter
110g/4oz oats
? (approx.) pint of milk
splash of double cream
drizzle of honey

Method
1. Gently melt the butter in a pan. Stir in the oats.
2. Whisk in the milk and heat for a few minutes (according to packet instructions) to thicken.
3. Stir in the cream and heat for another minute until smooth and creamy.
4. Remove from the heat and spoon into a serving bowl. Drizzle the honey over to serve.

instead of using sugar why not use condensed milk .....it would still be sweet but a lot more creamier

A simple alternative is to add golden syrup instead of sugar. No golden syrup? Try dark brown sugar.
