Answers: I don't know I just had some ( mouse ). Ie the cat and the mouse for dinner. Get it?
Well, it depends. In Summer, good home cooked BBQ ribs (or pulled pork), twice baked potatoes, baked beans, corn on the cob and dinner rolls always makes a great summer meal. But in the Fall & Winter, nothing beats some home cooked chicken with mashed potatoes & corn or Beef Stew with corn bread.
my favorite #1 meal to cook is: HERB ROASTED CHICKEN WITH MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY...
1 whole fryer chicken, clean and all the giblets and neck removed... dry with a paper towel
1stick of butter or margarine melted and kept on a low heat
1 tsp each rosemary, thyme, parsley, sage, salt and pepper
1/2 tsp lemon juice
directions:
mix all the herbs in with the melted butter or margarine, and mix throughly, add salt and pepper and the lemon juice and mix again...
put bird in baking dish and baste the entire bird with the mixture remembering to loosen the skin by the breast bone to ensure a herb flavor to the meat, and pour 1/2 can of chicken broth or stock if u have it in the bottom of the pan... cook at 325 degrees for 3-4 hours basting with left over butter mixture every 30 mins to 1 hour... cool and serve...
