Is this Chili ok?!

Question: I made chili last night and it was finished around 1am. I set it out on the stove and was only going to let it sit for about 45 minutes before I put it in the fridge. Naturally, I fell asleep and woke up about 5am realizing that it had sat out. I threw it right into the fridge but I am afraid to serve it. I know FDA says 2 hours to let food sit out but what do you all think?

it is probably Ok.

I would bring it to a full boil again ( slowly) before serving it.

I would be leary of it.

I think, you should just let the chili out because i think , not just taste spicier than before but afraid it will harm your stomach..

I dont know I cant taste it LOL!!!

It is probably okay because I don't believe there is any ingriedents in it that would spoil fast. Think about it fridges weren't always around.

It's fine!!!

I agree that you should bring it up to a boil first to be extra safe....but it's fine.

Now go make some cornbread and enjoy your chili!!!!!!!

Warm it back up and you should be fine, if not then that's why god invented toilets. :)

I never take a chance when it comes to my family's health. I might try a little to see if it made me sick, but I'd never serve it to young children.

Why would you make chili so early in the morning? O_o I would be a bit concerned about eating it. Take a few bites and see how it is.

yeah-its fine
