My recipe says "cream" mixture. Does this mean to use an electric mixer, or mix by hand?!

Question: "cream mixture" just means to blend everything together so there are no pieces of anything floating around. Before I had my mixer, I would do it by hand. It doesn't take very long by hand. I'm assuming you mean like cream butter and sugar together. That doesn't take much time at all and less than a minute with a mixer.

probably electric mixer

It is your choice, but an electric mixer will be faster and less tiring.

You can go either way. An electric mixer is very fast and if you cream by hand it can take you twice as long if nor longer and very tiring on your arms.

I'd guess electric.

Either way, but a mixer is faster and easier.
