I have a recipe for fortune cookies (http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projec... Can I...?!

Question: make it without corn starch and almonds?

Answers: make it without corn starch and almonds?

I just took a quick look at your recipe and the answer to your question is NO. The corn starch is used in this recipe as a binder / thickener and don't forget that corn starch also acts a sugar (even if it doesn't taste sweet). The almonds is an integral part of the recipe.... Don't attempt to eliminate either.

PLEASE NOTE: ... I don't know where you live, but I did find in the recipe a small error that is corrected at the bottom. It is listing the cooking time as 350 centigrade. Depending on where you live, you will need to fix the temp.

food is good!!
