How long and what temparture do I cook a 3lb Pork Tenderloin?!

Question: I just made pork tenderloin yesterday! However it was only a little over a pound. The directions on the package said to cook it at 450 for 15 minutes, but I don't think that you should triple that. Probably at 400 for 45 minutes would work. I think you should cook it a little longer at a lower temperature to make sure that it is cooked through.

I wouldn't cover it. Let it brown nicely. And yes, you can put Italian Dressing or whatever you want on it. I put olive oil and seasonings on mine, and I cooked it with potatoes in the pan to roast. It was great.

  • Cook at 350* for about 2 and 1/2 hours.

I make porkloin all the time. I marinade mine for at least 30 minutes, if you can do it longer then do it! then I cook it at 350 for 1 hour. Let it sit for about 15 minutes then slice it and enjoy. It comes out absolutely perfect. The bese marinade that I found lately is Lawry's Steak & Chop with garlic & cracked black pepper. I've had friends ask me to make it for them so that they can come and pick it up and take it home to their families! Enjoy!
