I just got a good deal on some nice fresh shrimp?!

Question: so I want to cook them spicy and with garlic. Do you have a recipe that will let me do that? (because I don't, and I don't know how) Thank you!

Here is a nice easy one Sugar.

Chili Shrimp
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
3 cloves garlic, crushed

Cook ingredients over heat until thick and creamy. Marinate - 2 pounds of shrimp in a little lemon juice, pepper, salt and chilies, for an hour.
Remove from marinade and fry quickly over moderate heat. Place shrimp (whole hot) in a tray and cover with sauce. Bake in oven (moderate heat) for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot. Alternately use chili sauce as a dip for the shrimp.

Melt a stick of butter; mix in 1 tsp. garlic powder.

Clean and devein shrimp; skewer.

Brush shrimp with garlic butter; grill or broil 2 minutes; flip and grill or broil 1 more minute.

Don't cook longer or shrimp will be rubbery.

To add spiciness, stir some flaked red pepper into the melted butter when you begin.

stir fry them with lemon, butter, cayenne and basil over medium high heat for 4 minutes. enjoy.

Here's a very simple one;

Ingredients;

Shrimps
Butter to fry with
splash of oil
1 onion (shallot, if poss) finely diced
juice of one lemon
Chili, as much or as little as you like!
Garlic, finely chopped

Preparation;

Cut the back of the shrimp, that way when you cook them they won't curl up and will butterfly out looking great.

Melt butter and oil together in pan (oil raises the temperature in which the butter melts so it won't burn) , when hot add the shallot and fry off until golden brown. Add the shrimps and fry about 2-3 minutes should do, then add the chili and lemon juice and fry for a further 2 minutes.

Then enjoy, best served with a nice green salad and garlic bread.

Good luck!
