What's the best way to cook a turkey drumstick?!

Question: I'm trying to cook JUST two turkey drumsticks. My mother told me that if I roast them in the oven, the meat will fall off of the bones. She suggested boiling. I've never been much of a fan of boiling protein, because I think a lot of the flavor ends up in the water instead of the meat. What do you think would be the best way to cook these drumsticks?

Don't boil it. Put it in a covered ovenproof dish and roast it for about 2 hours. They come out very tender and still juicy. I roast drumsticks and wings a couple of times a month.

I would agree with roasting in the oven. I mean, so what if some of the meat comes off the bones...still delicious. I would season the legs and place in a roasting pan.

Oven roasting is best. And you do sort of want it tender enough for the meat to fall off the bone.
