what ya do dude is mix all the chexs together and pour a stick of melted butta on there and add some mini pretzels and Melba toast or whatever, add some Tony's or some old bay or some cayenne or don't. add a tad of salt or don't. then you spread this out onto a sheet pan and bake it 400 degrees for 5 minutes, then put it in a fancy container and serve cold brew.
I love chex mix. Peanuts and cashews whatever you got can go in. make it your own creation.

buy the chexes, peanuts pretzels whtever you want to put in, and put cajun mix in it, or whatever seasoning.

great idea! find out what's in the chex mix, buy the items separately, exclude the items you don't like (like pretzels), and include more of the items you like (those cracker things), and shake it in some containter...Voila!

2 cups each wheat . corn, and rice chex
2 1/2 cups pretzel sticks or twists
2 1/2 cups bite size cheddar cheese crackers
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
in a large bowl combine chex cereals, pretzels and crackers . Poil oil over mixture and gently stir until well coated . Add ranch mix dressing mix and gently stir until well coated.. Store in a airtight container.

I got my Chex mix recipe off a box of the Chex cereal.
I'm sure that they have the recipe on the box especially at this time of year--with the Holidays coming up and all....or you could do a search.

I made up my own recipe - it tastes so good you wouldnt believe. You can substitute for any flavors you want. I one time used cinnamon sugar and cocoa powder and it turned out SUBLIME. You can use powdered cheeses (much tastier than it sounds) ranch dressing mix, taco seasoning, any spices you have in your cabinet, or any other flavors you have around. I made chex mix balls for halloween and it was so good! I just substituted the butter for marshmallow fluff, the peanuts for candy corn, mini marshmallows for pretzels and so on. YUMMY!

My Chex MIx

6 tablespoons butter or margarine

6 cups rice or corn chex cereal

3 cups weat chex cereal

1 cup pretzels (any shape)

1 cup nuts (I prefer peanuts or almonds)

1 tablespoon worchestire sauce

1/2 tablespoon cooking wine

1/4 tablespoon honey

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup favorite chips *

Heat oven to 250. Melt butter in saucepan. Add seasoning and sauces. On a large roasting pan, arrange chex, nuts, and chips. Pour butter mixture over. Toss to coat. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 10-15 minutes. Pout into bowl and serve hot or cold.

* Experiment! Go to the chips aisle in your supermarket and find anything that sounds good. One time i made a chinese chex mix with soy sauce and those little chinese cracker things at trader joes. I served with sushi and teriyaki chicken. YUM!
