Pineapple-upside-down cake!
one box duncanhines yellow cake mix
follow directions: eggs, veg oil and cold water
preheat oven to 350 degrees
for the pineapple glaze:
one can crushed pineapple
1.5 boxes C&H Dark brown sugar
one whole stick of butter (do NOT use unsalted butter!)
pour glaze into a 9x9 cake pan and then pour cake batter on top of the glaze.
bake 30 mins. poke with a toothpick in the center if it comes out clean of any batter its done if not check again after 10-15 minutes more baking time.
once done baking let it cool in the pan 20 minutes. Then take a knife to the edges go all the way around the cake with it. place a plate over the pan and flip the cake so that the glazed side is on top remove the pan after loosening the cake from the pan by tapping the sides with medium force.
And there you go.

My mom makes one with chocolate and cherries some call it black magic cake. I like german chocalate

i LUV cookies and cream wit a yummy chocolate center..its sounds weird...bt i really like it...bt u have 2 get the good cookie dough not the nasty one...mayb the kind where in ther pilberry package..they taste the best..bt i really luv tyhe ones wit resses in it..try and see wat happens..and if it doesnt work, then just eat it wit ice cream..its the best of both world!!!!

This is the cake my wife requests for her birthday.

Carrot Cake
I was looking for carrot cake recipe without any pineapple and raisin, I found this one and give it a try, I couldn't believe the result, it taste soooo wonderful just add your favorite cream cheese icing on top.

3 cups shredded carrots
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla

1. combine eggs and sugar, beat well.
2. in another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and carrot.
3. Add the flour mixture to the eggs mixture in low speed, then add the vanilla and oil.
4. Bake in 350F oven.

The icing for the top is so good it would make a car bumper taste good.

This goes great on carrot cake.

8 ounces cream cheese
4 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla

1. Soften cheese and butter.
2. Beat well.
3. Add sugar and vanilla.
4. Beat again.
5. Spread on cooled cake.

RED VELVET CAKE!!!

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1 (1 ounce) bottle liquid red food coloring
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk


1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 (16 ounce) package powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)


Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar, vinegar, and vanilla, beating well.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until blended after each addition.
Add food coloring, beating until combined.
Combine flour, and next 3 ingredients; add to butter mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Beat at low speed until blended after each addition.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch cakepans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-22 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pans on wire racks for 5 minutes; remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
Spread Cream Cheese Frosting between layers and on top and sides of cake.
Cream Cheese Frosting: beat cream cheese and butter until creamy; gradually add sugar and vanilla, beating well.
Stir in pecans if desired.
