What are some good things to cook for Thanksgiving this year?!

What else am I missing or do you think that's it. Thanksgiving is about spending time with Family and Friends and giving thanks to those you love. It's not the food that counts it's the family.
And one of our traditions is going shopping the day after. I love doing that. Is anyone else going to do the same or do you plan on going some weeks before.
I'm saying this too early but to everyone, Have a Happy and Safe Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Answers: I'm 17 and my Father and I are doing the cooking this year. Last Thanksgiving, my mother was in the hospital so we spent our thankgiving there. My mother and the rest of our family cooks. But this year, we are doing the cooking. What are some good things to cook. I'm making a List now so far I have,

Wow, you've already got most everything! I would however toss in some mashed potatoes and gravy. And with that menu you could feed an army through the new year!

Potatoes of some kind, dumplings, baked beans, sweet tators, corn on cob.....

***Try baking a sample of this before Thanksgiving, I love it so much more than pumpkin pie and it freezes beautifully, so if you make this 1 now and taken it out and enjoy it on Thanksgiving that's 1 less thing you have to do on the big day, have a wonderful holiday.
Pumpkin pie cake
1 can pumpkin (29 oz)
4 eggs
1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 package yellow cake mix
1 c. melted margarine
1 c. chopped nuts
Direction
beat all ingredients except cake mix, margarine and nuts.
Pour in a 9 x 13 pan sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Pour melted margarine over cake mix and sprinkle with chopped nuts
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour no longer. Top with whipped cream if desired.
