Answers: Any ideas? Has to be easily transportable and not too difficult to make!

I just made a batch of Candy Corn Fudge for a weekend Halloween party. It was easy, yummy, colorful and a big hit. Here's the recipe:

1 bag (12 oz) white vanilla or white chocolate baking chips (2cups), melted
2 cans (16oz each) vanilla ready to spread frosting
1 bag (10 oz) butterscotch chips (1 3/4 cups), melted
yellow food coloring
red food coloring
48 pieces candy corn

1. Line a 13x9 pan with foil, spray with nonstick baking spray
In a large bowl mix melted vanilla baking chips and 1 can of frosting until well blended. Spread 1/3 of mixture evenely in pan.

2. In another large bowl, mix butterscotch chips and second can of frosting until well blended. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon yell and 1/2 teaspoon red food color until mixture is orange and well blended. Spread orange mixture over white layer.

3. If remaining white mixture has set up. heat in microwave on medium heat for 1 minute until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon yellow food color. Spread over orange layer. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.

4. Use foil to lift candy from pan. Turn white side up; peel off foil. Cut into 8 rows by 6 rows. Press 1 piece of candy corn in center of each candy. Store in refrigerator.

Helpful tips:
You can substitue almond bark for the vanilla chips.
Melt chips in the microwave 30 seconds, stir, repeat untilmelted.
Use a pizza cutter to cut the fudge.

rice crispies? my mom makes and decorates those for her co workers as "presents"

Cupcakes? Maybe some small bags filled with an assortment of candies. I also enjoy rice crispy treats!

I was thinking Rice Crispies too
maybe decorate with orange and dark brown Smarties... Stay away from potenial allergies of something with peanuts or nuts in it!!

Rice crispy treats. Add a little red and yellow food coloring to the marshmallows to make it orange. Or you could do the cookies with Halloween shapes in the middle or buy Halloween cupcakes at a bakery. Or brownies with orange icing. Brownies and cupcakes usually seem to be the favorites at my workplace.

Ready made Halloween cookies, easy to make and easy to carry, just put them in a bag when they are cool.

Substitute corn flakes for the crisped rice, and add some chocolate chips just before turning your treats out onto a pan to flatten and cool. This gives them a nice 'grown-up' twist.

Another thing I'd recommend isn't grown up at all, but it's fun. Bake cupcakes in flat-bottomed ice cream cones. This makes them easier to carry and eat. Put all the cones into a cake pan so they don't fall over when you're filling and baking them. You can even put them back into the cake pan after they're frosted or filled or whatever you're doing to them, so you can transport them more easily.

cut out sugar cookies , they dont really take long and you can decorate them put faces on the pumpkins and they would make nice halloween treats
another treat i saw was making a kitty litter cake you can buy a chocolate and white cake and then take sandwich cookies and mix with premade pudding . take some tootsie rolls and elongate like cat doo doo and then sprinkle your crumbled up chocolate cake and white cake in the pan then a layer of tootsie rolls and then some more of the cake and the sandwich cookie mixture on top with a few of the tootsie doodoo on top and when you put this together use either a new kitty litter pan and liner or use a beer or soda flat with a plastic garbage bag liner and then take along some bowls for it
get a new kitty litter scoop to serve it with too
i did this last friday for the girls at work and they had a nice laugh over it too
