Can you eat a clown knife fish?!

Question: I obtained a clown knife fish caught in freshwater off the coast of West Palm Beach Florida and am not familiar with the fish at all. Many say you can't dine on the fish and others state that the fish is considered a delicious meal when prepared properly. If it can be consume as a meal what method of preparation would you suggest.

Never heard of a clown knife fish.

Maybe only clowns can eat them
