I don't know if you prepare with idli mixture. If you haven't added raw rice while grinding, then add raw rice flour. In our place we dont add raw rice.We add only boiled rice for idli.If it is with dosa mixture separately ground, then add 1 cup boiled rice & 1 cup raw rice with quarter cup urad dhal, 1 spoon sesame seeds & then grind.Th dosa will be very crisp.

sorry boss i cant give answer to this question.

add some more water to avoid the thick consistency..then u put dosa ...it will do better

Add 1oz more flour and fry it in a little bit of oil.

Make sure the oil is really really hot before you pour in the batter.

This will make them crispy.

use less batter and also spread well and add more oil

grind 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds along with the soaked rice and urad . the batter should be just as thick as of idli batter. spread the batter as evenly and thinly as possible. avoid more oil while frying, and use a good quality tawa.
