There is really no replacement for carbs. Your body needs carbs...your brain operates on carbs. People on no-carb diets get fuzzy after a couple of weeks for that reason.
Instead of eliminating carbs completely, just cut back and eat only complex carbs. Think brown instead of white. Brown rice instead of white...whole wheat bread instead of white...yams instead of potatoes...even whole wheat pasta.
Whole grains tend to take longer to digest and end up not turning into sugar as quickly as simple carbs...like white bread and white rice. That means your body has a chance to use these complex carbs for energy, instead of storing them as sugar=fat.
Asian cultures, which tend to be trimmer than many others, are that way because the main ingredients in their diets are rice (starch) and vegetables. Use meat as an accompanyment and flavor enhancer rather than the main ingredient, and you will end up healthier and thinner, as long as you watch portions.
Gaining and losing weight is all about calories in and calories out. Every day that you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight, and vice versa.
Moderation and balance = good health and happiness.

whole grain bread and pasta is a good substitute, be sure to read the label and make sure there is no white wheat in the ingredients, as for potaoes, brown rice is good and filling, but all of these still have carbs, but "good" carbs.

There is no replacement. You can eat less or more but you need them to live.

I got one
