Does anyone know an easy recipe for apple crisp that does not include flour?!
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 Preheat oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, and vanilla. Toss to combine.
2 Layer sliced apples in a 9 x 12 inch baking pan.
3 Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and oatmeal in a bowl. Cut in butter. Sprinkle sugar mixture over apples.
4 Bake 45 minutes or until topping looks crunchy and apples are tender.
Serves 8. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

You could use oatmeal and butter.... I think right?
If it is a Flour allergy then rice flour or ground oat works as a good substitute for the crumb topping and cornstarch to thicken the apples

Caramel Apple Crisp To Go

Ingredients
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 Tablespoon light-colored corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
4 to 6 apples, cored and sliced
1 cup crushed cookies, such as biscotti, pecan shortbread, peanut butter, oatmeal, snickerdoodles, or chocolate chip (about 3 oz.)
Directions
1. For caramel sauce, in a heavy medium saucepan combine whipping cream, butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Bring to boiling over medium-high heat (about 5 to 6 minutes), whisking occasionally. Reduce heat to medium. Boil gently for 3 minutes more. Stir in vanilla. Transfer sauce to a storage jar with a lid. Let cool for 15 minutes. Cover and refrigerate up to 2 weeks. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
2. To serve, place apple slices in individual bowls. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Top with crushed cookies. Makes 8 servings.

Cheesy Apple Crisp

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups sliced, peeled apples
2 tablespoons finely shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons water or apple juice
2 tablespoons rolled oats
2 tablespoons granulated sugar or brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon margarine or butter, softened
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger, nutmeg, or cinnamon
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds (optional)
Vanilla ice cream, half-and-half, or light cream (optional)
Directions
1. In a medium mixing bowl toss the apples with the cheddar or Swiss cheese. Divide fruit-cheese mixture between two 10-ounce custard cups. Add 1 tablespoon of the water or apple juice to the cheese-fruit mixture in each custard cup.
2. For topping, in a small mixing bowl stir together the oats, granulated sugar or brown sugar, flour, margarine or butter, and ginger, nutmeg, or cinnamon. If desired, stir in the chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds. Sprinkle topping over filling.
3. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until fruit is tender and topping is golden. Serve warm. If desired, serve with ice cream, half-and-half, or light cream. Serves 2.

"This takes a little longer but is truly worth the extra effort. You can use the apple filling as topping for ice cream, for apple crisp, apple pie, or anything else you like to top with apples."

9 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and finely diced
1 cup quick cooking oats
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
To Make Apple Filling: In a large saucepan combine water, cinnamon, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well, then add apples to pan. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender. Pour apple filling into a 9x13 inch baking pan.
To Make Topping: In a small bowl, combine oats, melted butter or margarine, and brown sugar. Mix well and sprinkle over apple filling.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
