Who do you think is the best Food Network chef?!

Question: I love both Paula and Emeril. I get bored with the others..

Answers: I love both Paula and Emeril. I get bored with the others..

Paula Deen....no doubt about it!

I grew up in the South, and her food is what I know.....hearty and delicious......happy food!

Emeril

Paula is better

Rachel Ray.
Paula Deen.
i like them both.

The Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten.

Giadda!

Emeril's annoying. 'BAM!' wtf.

Alton Brown. He's really knowledgeable in food.

The Ace of Cakes guy is great. He has good skills and has a good/funny show. Paula is next.

The first guy is right Emiril rocks

Paula, you're right.
Emeril, ahhh, it's ok.
RACHEL: awesome!!!
Alton: GREAT!!!

I like Alton Brown. He is probably the most intelligent and his shows teach you about cooking.

Now if you are only referring to actual chefs then the best is Mario Batali.
?

It would be hard to pick one since each favors different cooking styles. Paula's are very heavy and not at all low-calorie, but I love southern cooking. Emeril's recipes are great, but much of his cooking is too spicy (for me). I really like the newer show with the Cuban accent gal with the German name. Light, colorful and very flavorful food. And let's not forget our favorite food scientist guy, Alton.

Alton Brown. He has a lot of knowledge and I think the guy is just hysterical. I used to like Emeril an awful lot, but all the "bam" and "happy happy" stuff has gotten really old.

Mario Batali is BY FAR the best chef on Food Network. He is a living legend at this point. His mastery of every aspect of Italian cooking is unsurpassed. Alton Brown is a decent chef, but his expertise is in deconstructing recipes to find out why things are done the way they are. He is not an inventive-type personality, but his knowledge of the overall cooking process is very deep. Emeril is a clown, but he does know how to work a crowd.

Racel Ray. Her style and recipes fit into my family's busy schedule. Many family favorites (like veal ragu) came from her books or website. She keeps ME from getting bored in the kitchen!

Tyler Florence. Not only are all of his recipes good, they are not that difficult as other chefs such as Emeril.

Rachael Ray,Paula Dean & that Dinner Impissible guy

Ina Garten! I love watching her cook! She has a wonderful, classic, simple elegance I admire! I'd love to attend a dinner of hers!

i like Alton Brown and Emeril

Well, I am in the UK and when we are in the US, I love Emeril, I love his showmanship..BAM! I have never heard of or seen Paula, so I can't comment.. has she a website? I have seen the US version of Ready Steady Cook (Ready Set Cook) and your chef's (apart from Emeril) are pretty boring, no personality. Saying that, I love cooking programs and will strive ahead watching them when we are there..

It is easier to pick out the ones I don't like instead of picking who I think is best.
You can count on Alton Brown and Tyler Florence's recipes to be outstanding. But I also enjoy watching many others, in particular Paula, Guy, and Ina, and all the sudden I cant think of his name, is it Stephen (Dinner Impossible)? I like Mario and Bobby too. Mostly, I really dislike Giada (she is yucky).

Bobby and Emeril :D

I love Paula Deen because she makes the food I grew up with and she's hilarious. Alton Brown is a close second since he has so much food and science knowledge and his shows are so entertaining.

Toss up between Ina Garten (barefoot contessa) or Alton Brown. I like Ina's style and recipes but I like the science lesson that Alton puts into his recipes.

Paula Dean, she had down home southern recipes that are delicious and easy to make.
Emeril is a good showman.
Rachel has some decent quick recipes.

Alton Brown is my absolute favorite. He so interesting and scoffs at specialized equipment.

LiVe...LoVe....EAT!!!

Alton Brown is definately the win. He's so cool, kinda like a Chef version of Bill Nye the Science guy!
