garlic and onion

This is a favorite recipe of mine:

I make stuffing outside the bird, the bird will be well seasoned with olive oil and herbs.

I'll put chopped onions, celery, sage inside. I'll make the Dressing on the outside.

NOTHING. Stuffing is supposed to roast outisde of the turkey. However, you could put in some nice vegetables and herbs inside the turkey to flavor it while roasting.

I don't put any stuffing in my turkey. Look inside of there....It's GROSS! It makes the turkey harder and longer to cook and that could lead to food poisoning. I just make dressing and serve it on the outside.

I'm doing a Turduckin again this year so my turkey is getting de-boned along with the duck and chicken. in between each fowl I'm using a layer of cornbread pecan dressing, oyster dressing, and a wild rice cranberry dressing in the middle of it all.

you shouldnt stuff the turkey..bake that stuffing seperatly

it might not get cooked all the way through, then its like your eating raw turkey juice in the stuffing...oh yum!

if you insist on stuffing the bird, make sure the stuffing reaches temp of 170*F, yep poke a food thermometer in there!
