Why are my pumpkin chocolate chip cookies looking a little greenish?!

Question: I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies on Monday night. They are a little doughy but I like them soft and there's no eggs in the recipe so I figured it was fine. Now some of them look greenish, not like mold, but maybe its the chocolate and the pumpkin colors mixed together? They taste fine. Any ideas?

I think your right in thinking its the pumpkin and the chocolate mixing together... as to why it happened, my best guess is that when/if you mixed the chips in the dough with the pumpkin thus creating the problem.

What I would do I make your dough, then when the cookies are half-way through baking sprinkle the chips on top to give them less time to react with the pumpkin.

Sounds like the colors being mixed together.

The color ran...
