Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie?!

Question: I'm baking a strawberry-rhubarb pie and I only have frozen strawberries and rhubarb. Should I defrost them before I put them in the pie crust or can I put them the crust frozen and then bake it? If so, won't they be too watery??

By all means, Thaw them first Hon. Bob.

I would thaw and drain off the excess water. If you use frozen you will need extra flour in your mixture.

Go ahead and defrost them first. You can run them under cool water to get this done faster just be sure to lightly run the water or you may end up damageing the fruit.
