Sugar cookie frosting recipes?!

Question: Hey! Im looking for a sugar cookie FROSTING recipe. I think its made from powdered sugar, but I want a recipe that actually sets up on the cookie and gets hard. Not a soft frosting. Any ideas or receipes? thanks!

Wilton has their Royal Icing and Color Flow Icings on their website along with tips and suggestions. Check out their website:

www.wilton.com

P.S. The Royal Icing is used to outline the cookie. The Color Flow Icing is to fill in the cookie. Both harden. The powdered sugar can be found at the grocery store. The Meringue Powder and the Color Flow Powder can usually be found at Michaels.

P.S.S. If you don't want to buy both, just outline the cookies with the Royal Icing and then thin it down with water so it flows more easily to fill in the cookies.

Google it.

I recently made sugar cookies and drizzled them with melted white chocolate chips.
Melt about 1/2 cup chips and water (or shortening) on high about 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted. Drizzle over cookies.
I originally got the recipes from Betty crock er, the link is below.
