Blender the same as juicer?!
i was just wondering, i want to make this frozen dogs treat recipe for my dog and since allt he stuff is mushy, if i could put it through the juicer instead?
would this work?
this is the recipe:
32 oz. plain yogurt
1 mashed banana
2 T p'nut butter
2 T honey
also, what does oz. mean? what is that in grams?
Answers: our blender broke down recently but a few months ago, we purchased a juicer (you know those ones that cut fruit to make juice)

a juicer is only suited to extract liquids from fruits and vegetables, i don't think you need even a blender for that recipe since they are easy to homogenize by hand - maybe add a little hot water to the honey to melt better into the mix. 1oz is almost 30gms - i think it is 28 grams to be exact but not sure
Bananas aren't supposed to go through a juicer, and I would assume peanut butter shouldn't either. Oz. means ounces.
I don't think that would work because the juicer will separate the juice out of that mixture. Try to get another blender. Also, oz. stands for ounces. 1 Gram = 0.0353 Ounces
i dont think it would work beacuse juicers are made to get any liquids out of something. i say either get a new blender or if you have a food processer use that. and there 28 grams in an ounce (oz).
