Do you have a set menu at home?!

Question: I try to have certain core meals in a week such as pasta, fish, pizza, sunday type roast, meat pie and mexican wraps. What do you have?

Yes, but it varies more over a two or three week period. Not that you're asking, but ol' momsy here thinks you need more vegetables (hate word veggies) and salads. Shepherd's pie is a favorite and can freeze leftover for another day or a lunch, it's easy and everyone likes it. So is Swiss Steak, make enough for 2 meals and freeze one. Also, omlettes are an easy meal, with cheese, tomato &/or chopped up onion in it. But you're doing okay, your list is good.

anything thats easy to cook or the chippy or pizza hut i'm really bad at home

i don't have a set menu as such, but i home cook everyday and i do the same as you. I'll make pasta meals, fish, plenty of veg for the kids, chicken. i make casseroles now its getting colder. i love recipe magazines and use them for ideas and variety. and on Saturdays I'll order takeaway.

Anything i fancy at the time. It could be a kebab, could be a nice greasy fry-up, could be a nice spicy lamb vindaloo - anything i think will slide down nicely on that occasion. Fuc k the cancer, i'd sh it that out with the rice

We have different things all the time!
All the things you said and more besides!
Our core meals are pasta, rice, fish and mince, which is so versatile!

whatevers in the fridge and freezer and it depends on who gets home first if my husband gets home first he'll do a lovely meal if i do its usually beans on toast

I find myself makignsimiliar things week to week although I do hate it lol. My soon to be mother in-law doesn't realize it but she does you can guarantee to get at leat 5 out 7 dishes the same every week. I think that's why it bugs me that i notice that i'm starting to do it lol.

one meal a day,a high tea normally

we have sunday roasts during the week home made soup stews fish pie curry, pasta dishes etc every thing home made

i buy ingredients that can make different combination of dishes, otherwise i get bored by the expectation...
the set menu thing i've tried but gave up, not exciting...

yams
salad
pinto beans
corn bread
garlic bread
I love to cook for my kids.
We usually burgers and fries, and pizza on the weekends.
I hope this help.

no

Not now, no but at my mums she does, but I guess not set, but there's always a roast at one point and always fish id say 2 or 3 times a week.

I don't have set days of the week for certain food. I do, however tend to serve the same combinations, like if I'm doing fajitas I will always serve potato wedges with it and when I make my bbq chicken I always serve rice.
I usually have some sort of chicken dish at least 2 -3 times a week as it is my favourite meat and I tend to have pasta a couple of times too (or rice or cous cous). Normally I limit chips to once or twice a week but it depends how I feel and what time I have.

I find the main ingredient and work round that. I do tend to always have, and use the same vegetables though namely mushrooms, garlic, leeks, onion, celery, tomatoes, lettuce, rocket, alfalfa, radish sprouts. I am not averse to the odd pork chop, but I do try to vary it and keep it lean. I must have some kind of carbohydrate because of the diabetes.
