Does anybody have a recipe for almod soda cracker cookies?!


Question: ALMOND ROCCA COOKIES

1/2 lb. real butter
1 c. brown sugar
40 soda crackers
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Oil large cookie sheet. Place soda crackers on cookie sheet. Boil butter and brown sugar for 3 minutes (you melt butter, add brown sugar then boil, timing important, do not burn mixture). Pour over soda crackers. Place in 350 degree preheated oven for 5 minutes or until crackers float. Put chocolate chips on top to melt. You may put back in oven for a few seconds to melt and spread over crackers. Remove from oven, and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts (or your choice). Cut when slightly cooled and store in an air tight container

Measure Ingredient
Soda crackers
1? cup Butter (not margarine)
1? cup Brown sugar; packed
1 pack (24-oz) chocolate chips (semi-sweet) (up to)
2? cup Chopped almonds

Line small cookie sheet (approx. 15 inches by 10 inches) with foil. Spread soda crackers over entire pan. Mix together butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Bring to boil over low heat and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over crackers. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Crackers will float to top. Sprinkle chocolate chips evently over top. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top. press in with back of wooden or plastic spoon. Chill until set (at least 3 hours). Break into pieces. (For a variation, try milk chocolate chips or mint chocolate chips)
