Answers: How do i get it out of the kettle?

bbq tongs

wait for it to cool tha pour it out

pour out the water, and the egg should come rolling out. If it is boiled correctly its hardly going to crack!!

Do people really boil eggs in a kettle? First im hearing of this

The same way as you got it in!

take the lid off and lift it out with a spoon

Ha ha ha, well it's in there now, just mix it up with butter in the kettle :)

Drain the hot water out and pour cold over it. You are supposed to shock them anyway.

With great difficulty.

Get a slotted spoon and lift it out. Then, take it to your sink and shock it with some cold water.

boil an egg in a pan for 3 mins its soo much easier x

Give up boiling eggs. Apply for a place on "Brain of Britain".

poor it into a bowl!

Pour the hot water out of the kettle.
Then use tap water to splash down on the kettle...
The internal & external surface will cool, then u can easily take out the egg.

Try using a spoon. You boiled an egg in a kettle?
Is this a USA/UK problem, or did you really boil the egg in a kettle? (In the UK this is an appliance specifically designed for boiling water), only people who don't have a saucepan boil eggs in a kettle.

LOL That's funny. Why didn't you use a pot. Get a saw or a new kettle, maybe both. Possibly more eggs.

Get a slotted spoon and lift it out. Then, take it to your sink and shock it with some cold water.

very carefully

Is it still in the shell or did you crack it and dump it in? Or did you actually mean to say a pot/pan instead of a kettle. If you did boil it in a kettle, let it cool, remove the lid and pour it out. If this is too complicated of a thing to do, just toss it out (kettle and all) and do not try to cook anything again. How have you survived this long?
