Don't have a pizza pan...?!
Answers: I'm making a pizza for dinner tonight, and I don't have a pizza pan that the recipe calls for. My normal crust is deep dish, and is made in a baking dish. On this pizza I'm making tonight, I'm going to attempt to stuff the crust with string cheese. What can I use as a substitution for a pizza pan? Would a sheet pan work OK if I just sort of shaped the crust freeform?
yes it works. :)
your string cheese idea sounds yummy......youve made me hungry!! hahah
Use a cookie sheet... that's what I've always used. I'm a little confused though. If you've alwaysused a baking dish and it worked, why not use one again? But a cooking sheet is a perfect substitution for a pizza pan.
Yes, I have made alot of rectangular pizza in my life. they taste just as good.
I have had that problem too when my pizza pan wears out then until I get a new one I usually make one on my cookie baking sheet. like you said change the shape of the crust to fit your pizza sounds good too.
