How many egg whites would 1/4 of a cup be?!


Question: I have this recipe that calls for 1/4 cup egg substitute. I don′t have any on hand so I was thinking of substituting with egg whites.

1 large egg or 2 medium. That's what I would guess.

depends on what size egg your using small medium large ex large or jumbo. 5 or 6 jumbos should do it judge from that for smaller eggs

I would say two, just break the egg and separate the white from the yolk and drop it into the measuring cup

The whites from 2 large eggs is appx. 1/4 cup.
