Breakfast idea's for continental breakfasts/fruits to include with cereals ...?!
Answers: Idea's for breakfast cereals for continental breakfast served in a restaurant, you'd like to see as a receipe, also idea's on the types of fruits you'd like to see with your choice of cereal, to serve the elderly / children. Your idea's would be appreciated.
For continental breakfast choices maybe different mixes of Muesli, yoghurt skim milk and full cream milk choices, brown sugar, extra sultanas. Chopped fruit in season: like I just love kiwi fruit, mango, rock melon, pineapple, banana, chopped fruit in general and of course a few juices on hand too and maybe interesting grain breads as well as plain breads for toast. Maybe also choices of say Cornflakes, Branflakes - that sort of thing and real butter and freshly perked coffee and top brand loose teas and lovely upmarket spreads like pure fruit jams and special honeys and cheeses. I will stop right here I am getting hungry.
Oatmeal or cold cereal with bananas, raisins, or apple chunks is super! Dried cranberries and blueberries are yummy too!
Bananas are always good easy peeling and little trouble. Guests usually like to take a piece of fruit with them that is easy as well such as an apple.
If there is going to be yogurt, any type of granola is good to have on hand for a mixer for people on the go. A healthy variety is very important now adays along with the usual pastries. Many people are low carbing so there should be some lower carb fruits and dairy.
We did a full sit down breakfast but I still made sure there was fruit to go and maybe cereal/granola bars just in case.
