You can cook almost anything from soup to whole joints of meat/chicken. My mum also makes rice pudding in it.

My favourites are

Chinese Chicken
Beef/Irish Stew
Spaghetti Bolognese
Mince
Roast Beef/Chicken
Chilli

my most favourite thing to eat thats been cooked in a slow cooker is beef and carrots mmmm

lamb shanks are good too

I bought one this week and have used it several times. it is great to come home from work to a ready-made dinner!

we have made paella, beef bourguignon, chilli, and prawn risotto.

You could also try sausage or chicken casserole, soups, ratatouille.

Have fun with it.

My favourite recipe is BBQ Chicken. Just put diced chicken breast in with BBQ sauce and serve with rice.
I also like to cook joints of beef or pork. Make sure you have plenty of stock so they don't dry out.
You can cook virtually anything in it, (except liver) just experiment. I cooked pork chops in honey & mustard sauce in mine yesterday.

the best thing i have ever bought is my slow cooker.

i cook the following
soup
chilli con carne
different types of stew, chicken, beef, sausage
mince and duplings
rice pudding
semolina
fruit for crumbles
